The first workshop is 'Learn to Crochet' @ Up Country in Holmfirth on Saturday January 30th, 10 -3pm in the class you will learn the basic principles of crochet and develop your skills to produce a 'Granny Square' . Then on Saturday February 27th I will teaching a 'Learn to Knit' class @ Up Country from 10 - 3pm. Again, it will cover the basic principles of knitting and you will learn how to knit a small product, contact 'Up Country' for more details.
I also run a Knitting and Crochet Club at 'Up Country' and this is an occasion to meet up with like minded crafters to do a bit of crafting, sort out any knitting or crochet problems and have some coffee or tea and home made cake. The dates for the next get together is on January 30th and further dates can be found under the 'workshop' tag on my blog.
I am also offering sewing workshops and the first one is on Saturday January 23rd @ Unravel in Denby Dale. This workshop is 'Learning how to make a Saw Tooth Star' and involves learning how to make the Saw Tooth Star block which we then develop and make into a cushion. This workshop is a good starter of an insight into the wonderful world of Quilting. Contact 'Unravel' for further details.
And finally - at the moment - I will be teaching my most popular workshop 'Quilt-in-a-Day' on Thursday May 19th @ Black Sheep Wools in Culcheth. You start this workshop with a pile of fabric and wadding and you leave it with a quilt, if you click on the link here you can find out my last quilting workshop at 'Black Sheep' and check out this blog under the 'Quilt Gallery' for more pics of the fabulous quilts that have been made in this workshop.
So if you are feeling crafty I hope these are of interest and hope to see you there.
